My Supra went to Trac-Art in Ashford with a blown turbo on the 16th October 2004. It was agreed that Zeca Bridges (the boss of Trac-Art) would fit a pair of Turbo Technics Stage 3 Hybrid turbos, a Blitz intercooler, new boost controller, purge valve and chrome bonnet struts and dress the engine up a bit, the work was agreed to take 3 - 4 weeks and cost in the region of £4,000.
I eventually got my car back after a load of shit on the 5th February 2005 with no turbos at all (he'd blown the new turbos in the 600 miles he'd covered), no purge valve, no bonnet struts and all at a cost of £5,225.26 which the police said I had to pay to get the car back then go to court! He scratched the paintwork, broke the neons under the car, put a hole in the leather on the drivers seat and killed the sound system all for FREE! Wanker. I had to trailer the car away costing another £100 and I was left with a shit looking Supra with an empty engine bay and a box of bits. I've since had to pay Turbo Technics to repair the turbos again and the car is now with another repairer to sort the engine. When I get the car back I still need to sort the paintwork, sound system, wheels, foglights and neons.
So far it has cost me over £6,000 and six months, if you're thinking of using Trac-Art to carry out work on your car please take all this into consideration first.
